ESPN Interleague series starts tonight as the New York Mets travel to take on the Boston Red Sox. Boston traded away stars David Price and Mookie Betts in the offseason and had to part ways with manager Alex Cora after he was tied up in the Astros’ cheating scandal. Tonight they’ll be going with a myriad of bullpen pitchers, starting with Josh Osich, a 31-year-old who doesn’t inspire me. The Mets are coming off a 14-1 beatdown at the hands of the Braves on Sunday. They’ll start Michael Wacha in this one, who had a bit of a down 2019 but was excellent the year before. The Red Sox are coming off back to back

NY Yankees at Washington Nationals Free Pick: Patrick Corbin is on the mound for Washington todayy, and that is good news for the home team. In his first season with the Nationals, Corbin notched a 14-7 with a 3.25 ERA record, and he also won two games during the postseason en route to the World Series title. Brady Singer will be on the mound for Kansas City, while Mike Clevinger gets the ball for Cleveland. For a few reasons, I think the Indians make a lot of sense on the run line. This Kansas City lineup is completely pathetic, and they didn’t score a single run in their opening loss. In fact things were so bad that they struck out 18 times, a record for opening day. Clevinger has been one of the best pitchers in the league for the past few seasons, and he strikes out a ton of batters. Singer is a rookie

Brady and the Bucs

Tampa Bay and Clearwater have great beaches, and I’ve enjoyed them many times. Both are nice cities. However, with Tom Brady and Gronkowski joining the Bucs the city is buzzing with enthusiasm. Actually so am I, as I can’t wait to see how this story unfolds. This football news is like a beautiful babe strolling down the beach right in front of you; it grabs your attention and lingers for quite a while.
