About Gridiron Gold – Professional Football Handicapping Since 1980
About Gridiron Gold
Gridiron Gold is an independent professional football handicapping service founded by Dennis Stagliano in 1980. Originally established as Eastern Sports Service, the company later became Gridiron Gold and has provided NFL picks, college football picks, football newsletters and professional handicapping analysis for more than four decades.
Through changing eras of sports betting — from printed newsletters and telephone services to today's digital delivery — the foundation of Gridiron Gold has remained the same: independent research, matchup analysis, disciplined handicapping and experience developed from analyzing thousands of football games.
Dennis Stagliano and Gridiron Gold
Dennis Stagliano has professionally handicapped football since 1980. His career spans more than four decades of NFL and college football analysis and includes independently documented championship performances, published handicapping standings and recognition in sports handicapping publications.
Long before online sportsbooks, betting apps, social media and modern handicapping websites existed, Dennis competed in documented national handicapping competitions and built Gridiron Gold through printed football newsletters and direct customer service.
Today, Dennis continues to personally research football selections using the same experience-based approach that has guided Gridiron Gold throughout its history.
Documented Football Handicapping History
Gridiron Gold's history includes documented results from the American Association of Documented Sports Services (AADSS) and recognition in sports handicapping publications including Sporting Times, Experts Magazine, Gambling Times and Million$ Magazine.
Dennis Stagliano's documented accomplishments include the 1981 AADSS College Football Championship, a 1982 College Football runner-up finish and a 1983 NFL Championship Percentage Division runner-up finish.
Historical championship standings, magazine articles, newspaper clippings, photographs and other original documentation from Dennis Stagliano's career are preserved in the Dennis Stagliano Media Center.
Professional NFL and College Football Handicapping
Gridiron Gold specializes in NFL and college football handicapping. Each matchup is evaluated using factors such as quarterback play, offensive and defensive matchups, injuries, coaching tendencies, scheduling situations, motivation, travel, weather, line movement and betting value.
The objective is not simply to predict which team will win a game. Football handicapping requires evaluating the matchup in relation to the point spread or total and determining whether the betting line offers sufficient value.
Gridiron Gold provides both guaranteed and no-guarantee football selections, allowing customers to choose the type of service that best fits their preferences.
Old-School Handicapping – Never AI Generated
Gridiron Gold remains an independently operated handicapping service. Football selections are not generated by artificial intelligence or anonymous automated prediction systems.
Dennis Stagliano personally evaluates the games and makes his selections using decades of professional handicapping experience combined with current statistics, matchup information and situational analysis.
Technology has changed how football information is collected and how selections are delivered, but the final handicapping decisions remain human.
Gridiron Gold Football Picks
Gridiron Gold provides professional football coverage throughout the season, including NFL preseason and regular-season games, college football from Week 0 through conference championship games, NFL postseason selections, college bowl games and the College Football Playoff.
Football bettors can follow individual selections or use the Gridiron Gold Sheet football newsletters for broader weekly coverage and handicapping information.
Meet the Gridiron Gold Handicappers
Gridiron Gold's handicapping history extends beyond Dennis Stagliano. The Gridiron Gold team includes longtime professional football handicappers who have contributed NFL and college football selections and analysis over many seasons.
