NFL Matchup Trends & Head-to-Head Betting History
Gridiron Gold's weekly NFL matchup trends provide a quick look at how this week's opponents have performed against one another in recent meetings.
Each matchup report reviews recent head-to-head results, straight-up series performance, average scoring and winning margins. When reliable historical closing point spreads and totals can be verified, we may also include ATS and over-under results.
NFL matchup trends are one part of the handicapping process. Current quarterback play, injuries, offensive-line performance, defensive matchups, rest, travel, weather and the current betting line can be more important than historical results alone.
2026 NFL Week 2 Matchup Trends
Gridiron Gold reviews the three most recent meetings between this week's opponents, including series results, scoring averages and notable matchup patterns. Historical trends are provided as handicapping research and should be evaluated alongside current personnel, injuries, power ratings and betting lines.
