Handicapping Stat Key

SU — Straight-Up Record: Team's win-loss record without regard to the point spread.

ATS — Against-the-Spread Record: Team's record against the Gridiron Gold Consensus Closing Line.

ATS HOME — Home Against-the-Spread Record: ATS record in home games. Neutral-site games are excluded.

ATS AWAY — Away Against-the-Spread Record: ATS record in road games. Neutral-site games are excluded.

ATS STREAK — Current ATS Streak: Current consecutive covering or non-covering streak. Only streaks of three games or longer are displayed (W3, W4, L3, L4, etc.).

TOM — Turnover Margin: Takeaways minus giveaways. A positive number means the team has produced more takeaways than giveaways.

SMAR — Scoring Margin: Average points scored minus average points allowed per game.

YPP — Yards Per Play: Average offensive yards gained per play.

OYPP — Opponent Yards Per Point: Average number of yards opponents must gain for each point scored. A higher number generally indicates greater defensive scoring efficiency.

Gridiron Gold Methodology: ATS results use the GG Consensus Close — the median of available closing point spreads. Opening lines are excluded. Neutral-site games are excluded from ATS Home and ATS Away records. Closing lines can vary by sportsbook, so historical ATS records may differ slightly from other services.
